About Us
The Buccaneer Villa North Swim Team is a summer club swim team based out of the Buccaneer Villa North Swim and Tennis Club in Chalmette, Louisiana.
We welcome swimmers as young as 4 and as old as 18 to compete. Swimmers aged 8 or younger should be able to swim at least 15 meters unassisted, and swimmers 9 and up should be able to swim a full length of the pool before trying out the team.

Practice Schedule
2011 Season Practice Times (All times are Monday-Friday)
Morning Practice
Upper Division (13-up) - 7:30a - 9:00a
Lower Division (12-younger) - 9:00a - 10:00a
*We do not practice the mornings we have meets.
The Coaches
Head Coach Abbey Flaherty lives in Chalmette and works for The Gathering as its Youth Pastor. She also works for St. Bernard Parish Government running the youth program FUEL, which brings students in 6th-12th grades to events and to the FUEL Youth Center by providing a fun and safe environment for students to hang out. Coach Abbey grew up in Indiana where she swam for the Castle High School swim team and the Newburgh Sea Creatures USA Swim Team since age eleven. She coached 8 and unders as a high school student, was the assistant coach for a high schools swim team in Indianapolis and was a coach for Owl Swimming this year.
