Practice Cancelled

Well, practice is obviously cancelled. That's some crazy weather out there!

Hope to see you all tonight for the Pizza Party if this goes away! If not, good luck at the City Meet! Kimmy, Ray and Emily will be coaching you-remember to cheer each other on and do your best-let's see some team spirit!

A Meet Follow up

Hey Parents and Swimmers! I have posted the top times including the A Meet. There are some times in there as Meters from the B Meet, so if you see two times for one event, that's why.

Reminder that tomorrow is picture day! Come at 7:30 and we'll be taking individuals and a group shot. Wear your team suit or one that looks close if you didn't buy one. Don't forget to comb your hair and smile big!

Some important dates are coming up as we sadly enter the last stretch of our season. . .

Sat. 7/9-A Meet
Wed. 7/13- Picture Day-Everyone please arrive at the club at 7:30am. Fun practice to follow.
Thurs. 7/14-Team Pizza Party from 6-9pm $5 per person due by 7/12

Fri. & Sat. 7/22-23- City Meet Location: TBA

Thurs. 8/4-Swim Team Banquet 6-10pm-potluck dinner, please sign up to bring a dish

Fri. 8/5- Team Fun Day at Gulf Island Water Park-pay $22pp by July 21

A Meet Entries

I have posted the A meet entries under the vital links. If for some reason you are not swimming, please let me know asap. Also, if I missed someone, again, let me know asap.

One thing. . .each team is allowed to have one swimmer in each event regardless of their time as long as we have no one else in their age group that qualifies to swim. This means that there are a few swimmers that will be swimming events that they didn't necessarily qualify for since no one else qualified for them in their age group. This will help our results as a team.

A few of you qualified in extra events and I put you in the ones we needed you in the most, keeping in mind your preferences when I could. Let's go out there with some team spirit and really do our best and bring back our top times for the season!

"A" Meet Shirts!

We have to turn in our order for 'A' Meet shirts by tomorrow at noon. Please let me know at practice or shoot me a text if you want one and what size. 621-1831. The shirts are kelly green and have super heroes on the back-a play on "The League of Super Swimmers" which is the title of the meet. I will post the "A" Meet information under the Vital Links tab.
